Letter From Editor of Good Old Boat
|
Stephen,
The 28.5 is a great boat. Jerry and I were all set up to do a feature boat article on it to run this
year, but the people we went sailing with last spring never got a chance to take the sailing photos
we needed (he's a photographer so we thought it would work out). Then they sold the boat. So
we've got another 28.5 we'd like to feature instead. But the article's appearance in Good Old Boat
will be delayed. Anyway, we like the boat and know there's a dedicated group of 28.5 sailors out
there.
I just went to your site. It looks great, and once we have an article on the 28.5, you'll be welcome
to post it there with the others. Thanks for the link to GOB also.
We'll get your page posted on our associations pages: www.huntertwentyeightfive.com. Jesse
Busta does that. He's a student so he gets around to this between major homework crises. Jesse
will tell you about a program we have to offer subscriptions to your members and make $5 on
each sub to help support the cost of the webpage. It's a choice. No pressure from us to go along
with this offer. We're just trying to introduce Good Old Boat to as many good old boat sailors as
possible. Giving rewards to sailing sites is one of our grassroots efforts.
I'll also mention your site as a new site in the Mail Buoy. I just finished compiling the letters to the
editor for Mail Buoy for the March issue, so I'm not sure about space. If I can't work it into the
March issue, I'll get it into the May issue for sure.
