Many thanks to Cliff Ruckstuhl for making
    this all happen.

Please help to support this website. Click

Tis' the time of year where most of us need
to pull our boats out of the water for the
season. It's been a good year, and I believe
most of us learned a lot of lessons in racing,
maintenance, cruising and just sailing in
general. Feel free to share your experiences
with the others in the forums.

Let's talk about winterizing. What precautions
do we need to take before retiring our boats
for the season? I'm west coast, so my
season never ends. What do you do in your
    corner of the country?

What's New?
"To furl or not to furl", that's the question. Warren
tells it as it is. Read about it on the Articles page.
If you look up at the top of the screen at the
    links, you'll see that I've created a link to a H-
28.5 knowledge base. Compliments of Hunter
Owners.com. Yes! I did get permission. Thank
you, Warren Milberg. This is something that I
wish I would've though of a long time ago.

Need to rebuild your rudder?  Take a look at the
article rudder repair and Jay will show you how
    to do it.

Have you ever had the problem of feeling a
rubbing situation while you're steering?  Come
see the new article by Matt Sanderson and see
what you can do to quickly fix the problem.

Be sure to read Warren Milberg's latest article
on Installing a Cockpit Outlet. Sometimes I just
    can't have enough of those!

Pay heed to those weather reports! See what
happened to the Blue Seiche when those Gales
